About Us

Mission Image.jpg

Mission

Our purpose is to enable students to learn a language. All students are challenged to reach their maximum potential, by providing quality instruction to develop receptive, verbal and written language skills, leading them to have the ability to understand and communicate. Through this process, students should gain the skills, strategies, and desire necessary to explore and understand other cultures.

Method

Lingo Train learning process is accomplished by using a variety of interesting research-based techniques. Our curriculum relies predominantly on The Multiple Intelligences Theory in which learners acquire new information in a variety of ways: musical, verbal, tactile, visual, and other means.

Other key language instruction is achieved using the James Asher’s Total Physical Response (TPR) method, based on the coordination of language and physical movement. In TPR, instructors give commands to students in the target language, and students respond with whole-body actions.

The Tracy Terrell’s Natural Approach to language and The Rassia’s Method are teaching procedures and dramatic techniques used in our classes, which seek to eliminate inhibitions and create an atmosphere of free expression the very first day of class.
